Through March our spring snow goose hunts take place throughout the Eastern portion of South Dakota. This portion of the
state is where the majority of the mid continental snow geese population condenses as they migrate north to their arctic
breading grounds.
Over the past years I have hunted numerous locations throughout South Dakota and have singled out a
few areas that I feel are superior for hunting both migrating and staging snow geese. We usually set up in cut corn
fields or over water depending on the situation. We hunt over large spreads of wind sock decoys consisting of Sillosocks
and Northwinds. We also exclusively use Final Approach layout blinds for concealment. We use high quality
electronic calls
and snow goose recordings.
On an average day of hunting you can expect to harvest between 15-30 birds. 50+ bird days are not uncommon.
If there are no birds harvested in your field on a particular day you will not have to pay the remainder owed for
that day.
RATES
Full day hunts run from 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.
We offer lodging included with our pricing and are able to accommodate up to six hunters per group.
Rates are as follows:
$200 a person for 1 full day hunt and 1 nights lodging.

$550 a person for 3 full days of hunting and 3 nights of lodging.

A 50% non refundable deposit is required when booking.
This includes decoys, a professional guide, field blinds, hunting location, electronic calls, and lodging.
Licenses, shells, food and gratuities are not included
LODGING
We have made arrangements with an area hunting lodge to take on our customers. The lodge has a full kitchen, bird
cleaning facilities, freezers for storing game, and separate living quarters.
WHAT TO BRING
Weather conditions can vary drastically through out the day so hunters should dress for a variety of weather conditions.
Temperatures my be in the 20s at first light and later reach 60° come mid day.
Hunters should bring at least 3 boxes of shell per day in steel shot sizes 1,BB,or BBB. I will also have extra ammo
available if someone runs out.
